Vision for the Future

Our Future Plans to Grow and Serve Better

Thanks to the incredible support from the Combined Authority and Social Enterprise East of England (SEEE) securing core funding to bring this new building to fruition, together with match funding both financially and in kind from Clarion Futures charitable commission and Cambridgeshire County Council.

Match funding

Working hard with PHA and Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council, it exciting to say that planning permission has been granted for our new facility, so we can work with even more community members, as we grow.

We know the community has embraced Wisbech Community Farm since its inception in 2018 and now it’s an asset here to stay thanks to LLs, Wisbech Town Council and Wisbech Solicitors - Fraser Dawbarns LLP for supporting us in securing a 99-year lease, thus helping to future proof Wisbech Community Farm.

As well as completing our sustainability report and working towards becoming environmentally sustainable, we are also looking to install sustainable skill sets in the team and community, to keep the Wisbech Community Farm thriving through future generations.

We are working with architects and potential contractors to produce final drawings for the new office hub.

Next steps in the project are to continue working with the community (Community-Led Steering Group) and with our incredible staff, volunteers and partners.

As well as creating newsletters and sessions at the farm, we continue to input amazing ideas in design as we move forward with the building and future projects that emanate.
