Funded by the The National Lottery Community Fund as one of 91 projects across the UK awarded £50,000 Platinum Jubilee funding, we have been working hard since our celebratory Afternoon Tea Party launch with the Mayor of Wisbech and our wonderful friends and volunteers in the community in June 2022!
Launching our Dementia Friendly inter-generational project “Walks for Wellbeing”, the team and our community have been supporting Fenland in providing more accessible community activities and opportunities at Wisbech Community Farm.
As well as adding a warm cosy space for all to enjoy a range of nature-based crafts, singing and music, storytelling over a cuppa down on the farm, we have also been developing our wildlife walkway right across the perimeter of the farm with our keen gardeners, and building benches with our woodworkers, so many skills amongst all of those we meet!
