Research

We are so excited to be able to work with Professor Andy JonesPublic Health Expert and Fellow Honorary Professional Fellow, Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia, will be working with us to support the impact evaluation of the work that we do, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, with the support of our amazing volunteer Stevie Betts.

Katie Bristow

Katie has focused her career on Human-Animal Interactions, starting in SEN provision and progressing to animal welfare and behaviour. She led the PAWS Family Dog Service, helping over 1000 UK families with autistic children. In 2015, she co-founded People & Animals UK CIC, developing Green Care programs and Wisbech Community Farm.

Julie Milsom

Julie, passionate about the Human-Animal bond, taught animal management and facilitated a learning network. In 2007, she co-founded Hereford Community Farm CIC, serving as Director and Project Manager. She is developing a Green Care provision and, in 2015, co-founded People & Animals AAI UK CIC with Katie Bristow to provide training in Animal Assisted Interventions.

Lesley Bristow

Financial Monitoring & Administrative Support, brings financial and administrative support to ensure a solid infra-structure to put the organisation in the best possible place for progressing. Retired from a dedicated career in the NHS, she now pursues her passions in animal care. She competes in dog agility with her two border collies, Bond and Boogie, and tends to her flock of sheep and free-ranging chickens.

John Trimble

Social & Therapeutic Horticulture Consultancy, has a University Diploma in Therapeutic Horticulture and co-founder of Hereford Community Farm, John supports the team with his experience in establishing community green spaces throughout the UK.
