Stronger together

We are stronger together, that’s why we are rooted in the heart of the community across schools, community centres, libraries, hospitals and children’s homes. Fully committed to listen, understand, and respond in creative ways to come to unique and inspiring long-term solutions, involving the whole community to unearth local talent and harness the skills right here under our noses.

“Everything we do involves our talented community members – with a steering committee led by our TOAST social group, website design and marketing, future aims of the organisation, community farm development, programme activities …. everything becomes a community-led project to bring people together.”

Within our Community Engagement projects, we are able to work collaboratively with organisations including; The Oasis Community Centre, the Queen Mary Centre, Community House, Luminus Ferry Project and Cambridgeshire County Council, we harness the commonality of shared love of animals and nature, offering  a range of innovative drop-in community engagement sessions in deprived and isolated neighbourhoods – empowering local people across generations and culture, building confidence, recognising assets, and supporting skill sharing for stronger, more resilient communities.

“Without Toast I feel my life would be more empty and could potentially lower my sense of well being, and I cannot look forward enough to the end of the week when I have something to do, whereby me and Max are welcome and feel part of the Toast family.”
