Through our Outreach programmes, we know that we have the potential to help over 700 vulnerable people and their families change their lives for the better every month by providing a Community Farm as a base for our services.
“A safe, non-clinical, easy to access community space with a difference.”
Our vision brings people together through the appeal of animals and nature, providing early intervention, rehabilitation, multi-agency working, community skills swap & share initiatives, sheltered volunteering schemes and routes back into employment.
This farm will facilitate mutually beneficial collaboration and interaction between existing and new service providers to reduce duplication, make better use shared resources to establish a long term sustainable infrastructure to support communities – complimenting Cambridgeshire’s Vision (2017 – 2021), Wisbech 2020 Vision, and the plans towards Wisbech Garden Town.
- Development of skills
- Alternative routes into education, training and employment

- Raised aspirations for brighter futures
“With a 30 year lease for a 7-acre plot in place with the Wisbech Town Council, and a community trip from Wisbech to Hereford to learn more about establishing community farms, it is easy to see how much local support this exciting venture already has behind it!”
Increasing the range of nature-based and animal-assisted therapeutic activities that we can offer; providing a wider range of animals that respond to different behaviours; as well as providing a fuller curriculum of activities including therapeutic horticulture, willow weaving, apple pressing and green woodworking – broadening horizons and raising aspiration as people grow in confidence through our programmes and volunteering schemes.
